TREAT CONTROL

PREMISE:

After an epic night of trick-or-treating four kids have just returned home to dump their haul on the floor for sorting, trading, and consumption. The mother, having just located a VHS tape inserts the movie into the VCR for the kids to watch as they wrap up their night.

GOAL:

Collect as much candy as you can before the movie ends, or the game is STOPPED. The most candy at the end wins.

ITEMS:

Mysterious Goo: When USED, drops a green circle that slows players within.

Rat Hole: When USED, places a hidden 1-way portal exit. When USED a second time, places a hidden 1-way portal entrance. (the UX on this isn't great, just remember to use it twice!)

STRANGE ITEMS:

STRANGE ITEMS (Denoted by their blue item border) must be USED at the STRANGE DEVICE located in the middle of the neighborhood (at the spawn). Only 1 Strange Item can be in play at a time.

 PAUSE (Strange Item): When USED at the STRANGE DEVICE, PAUSES the game for all other players for a time.

 STOP (Strange Item): When USED at the STRANGE DEVICE, STOPS the current game.

 FAST FORWARD (Strange Item): When USED at the STRANGE DEVICE, increases game speed for all players.

 REWIND (Strange Item): When USED at the STRANGE DEVICE, REWINDS all other players for a time.

Dev Notes:

- There is no audio.

- Avoid exploiting the Rat Hole and putting it in front of the STRANGE DEVICE. That's cheating.

- The interaction of the Rat Hole is not very UX friendly, please note to just use it twice, and maybe remember where you left it too. ;)

I intend to upload all project files to make them public to all who are interested.
